JIT Formed to Investigate Suspects Involved in Attack on Chinese Nationals at Karachi AirportSindh Home Department Issues Notification for Formation of JIT
A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed to investigate the suspects involved in the attack on Chinese nationals at Karachi Airport. The 8-member JIT will interrogate the arrested suspects, Muhammad Javed and Gul Nisa. The Sindh Home Department has also issued an official notification for the formation of the JIT.
According to the notification, the DIG of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has been appointed as the chairman of the JIT. The team is required to complete the investigation and submit its report to the Home Department within 15 days.
