I did not say that war has broken out, but the threat exists — Defense Minister.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif clarified that he did not say war has begun, but acknowledged that a threat exists. He stated, “If war is imposed on us, we will respond forcefully.”

He further said that his statement in the interview was misunderstood. “I was asked a question about war in the interview, and I replied that the next two or three days are important. No response has been received from India regarding the investigation. India’s allegations are baseless, and our invitation for an impartial investigation remains unanswered.”

Khawaja Asif emphasized, “Troops are stationed at the borders of both countries. Our three armed forces are fully prepared and will defend every inch of the country. India should allow an international investigation into the Pahalgam incident. We aim to expose India’s false claims regarding the incident.”
