Prime suspect Armaghan in the Mustafa murder case has also been found involved in Hawala/Hundi operations. Following this revelation, a case has been registered against him in the Anti-Money Laundering Circle on behalf of the government.
According to the FIA, Armaghan was involved in Hawala/Hundi, digital currency transactions, and other illicit activities. The FIR states that the accused was fraudulently earning $300,000 to $400,000 monthly, which he then converted into digital currency. Vehicles in his possession were reportedly purchased using this digital currency.
The FIR further reveals that Armaghan opened bank accounts under the names of two of his employees. His call center was used to make calls to the U.S., during which sensitive information was extracted from American citizens. The accused then defrauded these individuals and transferred the money to himself.
